What we do: Post a writing prompt each Thursday, in the form of an idiom and a word-count goal. Goals will change depending on the week but will remain withing microfic territory, 100-500 words.

What you do: Write a piece of fiction featuring the prompt in some way – inspired by, taking the idiom literally, twisting it on its head, your choice, staying within 10% of the word-count goal (e.g. for 500 words, write 450-550 words).  Linkback to the prompt post (we still need a collector, we’re new still) & leave a comment here, letting us know where to find your story.

What next: Each Wednesday(this will change if I get a proper collector), we’ll post a list of stories written to the prompt.  It’s highly encouraged that you visit other writer’s prompts & leave feedback.

Write on! But not on and on… it’s a microfic challenge, after all.
